does anyone know if its possible to use the wrenches from one set of coilovers on a different brand?...when i got mine from this kid he lost the wrenches...before i go out and order them from the company i was wondering if for now its possible to use them from a different brand b/c my friends have some..tein, skunk2, etc...let me know

 

try them out and let us know. Most of them look the same.

 

im pretty sure that all the lowering "keys" are the same. my friend has tein basics and i have ebay specials and weve both used the same wrenches.

 

i just installed the suspension and i know you can take them off and do them by hand but since i just put it on its not even worth it to take them all off..i rather try out some other kind of wrenches and then if that doesn't work just call progress and order them...but im deff going to give my friends tein & skunk2 wrenches a try and see if either of them work..ill let you guys know..thanks.

 

well the answer to my own question is yes you can use other wrenches from different coilovers...my friend came over today and i used the wrench for his dropzone coilovers on my progress technology coilovers and it worked fine...so incase you guys ever lose yours as long as a friend has a pair of wrenches for his coilovers you can use them

 

I have lame-*** Weapon-R coilovers and I hate trying to use the wrenches on them. They will hit a certain point when the keys won't turn the perches any more. I started using an adjustable oil filter wrench instead. It's awesome!!
