Default HELP with lights/bulbs

Here's my dilemma.. all my fuses are fine, and the bulbs have all been replaced, but my brake lights won't work!!! The tail lights will be on, but then the brake is applied, the 2nd filament won't light up. And the accessory brake light will not work at all even with the new bulb, and I just checked the fuse for it, it's fine. Someone please explain to me what's happening... it's annoying when cops are following you and you have to toggle ur lights on/off to pretend they work

Someone please respond, Thanks, Mark

the brake switch might be bad... on most cars it's located above the pedal.

Check grounds too. I tell everyone this because it seem like it could be a big complicated problem when its just a simple ground
