Default what type of b-16 motors are there and whats the difference?

what are the different types of b-16 motors? i know there's one from japan, what else is there and what's the difference?

b16a3 = 94-97 del sol vtec
b16a1 = i don't think it exists...

b16a2=99-00 civic si, 96-97 Del Sol VTEC
b16a3=1994-1995 Del Sol VTEC
B16a= Not available in any U.S. cars, but came in many euro and jdm cars, including CRX SiR's.

There are B16A1's, Japan is the only country that didn't use numbers at the end, so 1st gen B16As from say Europe have the 1.

uhh no its not...the cams are diff...the pistons are way diff..its all diff

i'd agree with that. remember earlier years of the itr. the cams were like exactly like the itr's. but besides that. basically a ctr is a destroked itr

the JDM versions are only called b16a without the 2 at the end..
they're rated at 170hp instead of the a2's 160hp

yes, there are. they're made in Japan, and equipped with a B16A.
i've never seen/heard of a euro one, but if 976 discovered one, its new to me.

and he says 1st gen B16A. not a B16A1. maybe he needs to clarify.
