jdm h22 in 92 cx.

for the past couple of the weeks the car has been bogging/hesitating over 25 percent throttle. we thought it might have something to do with the dizzy, so we put on a new cap on...same problem. Today, the car was bogging really bad when we just moved it out of the driveway. We thought it might be the spark plugs so we decided to go ahead and change them. NOW, with the new spark plugs, the car will start for a split second, then it gradually chokes out and dies. i was thinking maybe the ignitor is bad...need help...thanks guys...

 

check ur throttle body.. fast idle screw to tight maybe?

it just dies.. or what happens when u try to give it gas?

 

i'll look at the throttle body tomorrow morning...i tried giving it gas but it doesn't do anything...it just chokes out no matter what i do...anyone??

 

what do you have with the swap? i knoe my brothers car was like that when he didnt hook up the resistor box.

 

everything is stock except intake, exhaust, put in a bigger fuel pump, changed distributor cap, changed spark plugs, new belts...thanks for the help guys...do you think it can be the timing??!?!?

 

maybe a main relay ive had it happen before
