i have some rota c8's and i just stripped the paint, the original color was gun metal. i recently curbed both passenger side rims so i decided to DIY repair and sand. i just stripped about 30-35% of the rims to the bare metal. my question is, will the bare metal rust over time if i dont repaint it? i was think they might look nice after they are 100% stripped. would they rust? TIA

 

they shouldn't rust. i stripped and polished my blades and i just keep them polished on a regular basis. no rust yet

 

I don't think they will ever rust. It's aluminum
