Default which tranny to go with? Rebuild or upgrade?

I'm looking for some good advice. B16 JDM LSD tranny took a dump (havent opened it up yet) what to go with next? the car is a full weight 95 Integra about 300 WHP for now (built / boosted LS vtec) street tire racing often, Bogart wheels M&H slicks once a month, Clutch masters stage 4 clutch (sprung hub, 4 puck)
The low gears are nice but I've heard that the differentials arent as strong as the LS ones, is this true?
How much more of an RPM drop should I expect between shifts because of gear ratio spread?
Whats the wiser thing to do?
Rebuild, replace (how much power and torque can these things usually take?)?
Send out to get upgraded ( who can do this, what does it cost what exactly can I expect)?
Go with an LS tranny and install a Phantom grip LSD?

Its all about your driving...you drive them nice they can take lots of power...you cant drive, well they'll break.
depending on what wrong with your tranny i would fix whats wrong with it.
phantom grip?NO they are not meant for drag and it will wear out you diff.
add a quaiffe and have no more problems..
