Default Are SI and DX O2 sensor the same? White Smoke...

Are the 1.6 SI o2 sensor the same as the 1.5 DX's o2 sensor? I'm asking because i used my DX o2 sensor after i dropped a d16a6 motor into my car. I did have Oxygen sensor Code, so i switched it and no codes.

I'm getting White Smoke at High RPM's, and at first i thought the 02 sensor was the problem because of the code. But i'm still getting the White Smoke at high RPM's and it doesn't feel i'm getting power either.

I did a search, i just wanted to double check. Now i'm thinking its the head gasket because of the white smoke....just checking all options before i replace it.

???
thanks

White smoke is from water/radiotor fluid getting into the motor not from a lean/rich condition. So no i highly doubt it's the o2 almost sure it's a headgasket if not a head gasket maybe a cracked sleeve but i doubt it

blah..... thought so. Its strange because i got a rebuilt d16a6, and i wouldn't think the head gasket would go this fast. But then again i wasn't there when a fellow H-t member rebuilt it......it must have a hairline crack, car isn't overheating yet..

Guess its time to replace the Head gasket. MAkes sense since i'm not getting power at high RPM's and slight bogging at times.

i hope to God its not a cracked sleeve, but at this time i have no reason to believe so, exhause does smell a bit sweet when warmed up from driving*..coolant *...

man.. just something i'm not excited about doing

thanks for the help.......
