Converting PR3 OBD0 Automatic to Manual ECU
Hey all,
I heard that this can be done. I just got off the phone with hmotorsonline.com and the person there told me you can convert a PR3 OBD0 auto trans ecu into a manual one. He said a company by the name of locashracing.com can do the conversion. they move a resistor from one spot to another. I tried calling locash and kept getting a busy signal. Anyone have any experience with this? And if its as easy as desoldering a resistor from one spot to another, i figure 90 percent of the peeps on this board can do it and save 100 bucks on buying a PR3 auto
($150 vs $250) and getting it converted.
Unfortunately the one that came with my swap lasted 3 months. Now i'm on the hunt for another one.
If anyone knows please reply
thanks!

If you need I have a perfect pr3 that is chipped I'm asking $200.00 or you can call redzone performance @ (408)998-5590. I'm sure they can do it for a good price
