good buy or not
hey guys,
i have told you before that i wrecked my last accord and all. I have a question for you guys. Is this a good buy a 96 accord ex lowered on coil overs, jdm lip kit, si wheels and aem v2. There are 145,000 miles on the car and he put a new motor in to it that has 30,000 on it. The price that they are asking for it is around 4500-5000 would that be worth buying??? thanks alot

from what you have said, it sounds like a good idea. find out what kind of motor it has in it. if its an ex, hopefully they replaced it with the ex engine, so i think i should have the f22b1, which is the sohc vtec engine. but if the engine truely has 30,000 miles on it, thats a good contender for b00st.
try to find out who put the motor in and where he got the motor from. Check out the shop that did the work. Also let a mechanic check over the car. 145K seems a little to early to need a motor swap? Just my 2 cents.
sorry i forgot to mention what he had put into it for a motor he i think put an f22b i dont exacly know waht is in the 96 but is an 96 accord motor. I am trying to let the rents to get me this car mabey i will take it in for a day and have it all checked out.
also here where i am form it is hard to find accord ex 5 speeds also 2 door thats what I had before i wrecked the last one. They are somewhat reare here mabey not elsewhere but I like accords. I will mabey purchase this car and send out pics to you guys. The color is pewter and the jdm lip kit looks bad *** on the car.
