Brakes dragging
Ever since I got this car (94 Integra LS), I've been having a problem with the right front brakes. The outer pad on that corner seems to be dragging. This causes that pad to overheat and wear mich faster than the others.
I've replaced the pins and pin boots on that side and that seemed to help a little bit, but it's still a problem. I've visually checked everything on that corner for alignment or excessive wear, and I can't see any difference between the right side and the left.
It seems like the caliper is the most likely cause, but it really doesn't appear to be sticking. It takes the same amount of force to squeeze the piston back in on the right side as it does on the left. Also, if it was the caliper at fault, I would think that would cause both pads on that corner to wear faster, but it's only the outside pad that has the problem; the inner pad on that corner wears at the same rate as all the others.
Has anybody else had a similar problem? Or does anybody know an easy way to tell if it's the caliper or something else?
Thanks a bunch!

Um, yes, but why would that make the right front outer pad wear faster???

Check the caliper mounting bracket and the metal clips that the pads sit on. My bracket had bent before which prevented my pads from sliding (outer pad never touched rotor). Re-bending the clips and applying more grease fixed the problem. If the bracket or clips has deformed, it won't let the pads slide toward or away from the rotor.
Brakes are bled. Flushed them yesterday, in fact. It's on my agenda to "exercise" the ABS a bit. The other three corners check out fine, with the same amount of pad wear on each side of the car and caliper.
I was wondering about those clips. They're not obviously deformed, but I think I'll get new ones anyway. And try a little grease on the ends of the pads in the meantime.
Thanks for all the suggestions!

Depending on it's use, the inner pad that the brake piston contacts will have more wear than the outer one just because that's the source of the pressure. This makes itself espectially apparant if it's only driven on the street where light pedal pressure is used.
