Does anyone have any pics of the different gunmetal colors Kaiser Silver and Solaris Silver.

Im trying to paint my jdm ITR wheels to match the honda centercaps.

taking them back to their original color.

 

best bet is to use kaiser then

 

Solaris Silver is the closest match to the gunmetal wheels (and center caps) that are stock on the '00-01 US ITR. Kaiser Silver is pretty similar, though. (They're a similar shade; Kaiser is more metallic.) If you had good photos, you probably wouldn't be able to tell them apart in the photos.

I have no idea whether the Honda center caps are the same color as the Solaris Silver Acura ones in the States...

 

solaris silver is the color of NSX wheels

kaiser is ITR wheels

I kept seeing where "nsxtacy" was sayin Solaris Silver(in archives),..but I do believe ITR wheels are Kaiser Silver.
From the NSX wheels I've seen they have been brite,..slightly Shiny & slightly"chromie".
COuld be wrong haven't stared @ a NSX close enough in probably 5 years.

I'd still have to say ITR's are darker though.(Kaiser Silver)

we need to prove this fact or something

They are. The Acura parts computer specifically identifies the '00 and '01 ITR wheels and center caps as being Kaiser Silver Metallic. I've asked on two separate occasions and for both model years, and this color is correct. As an additional FYI, I had my '00 center caps professionally sprayed Kaiser Silver Metallic, and they matched the stock wheels' color flawlessly.
