If it was me, personally, I would not rev it any higher then the engine makes power. Like if power drops at 7k, dont rev past there. If your getting up into the 7500rpm range and still making power, it would be wise to build the motor. It just depends. I mean people say not to rev the CRVTEC, yet I have a buddy who rev'd his to 8900rpm because he was making power up there with the cams and he never had a problem. This was the stock bottom end btw. I think that its up to you. Search around for peoples mini me setups and see what they are reving to.

thats odd b/c when i bought my car it says it was an hf and the kid didnt mention anything about a dpfi to mpfi swap or any swap for that matter. doesnt matter now i guess since im not even rockin a d series anymore...

remember the redline is the maximum speed the crank can rotate before loosing stability and causing damage
