Need Advise on Buying NSX
Hi, I have to opportunity to purchase a 1996, Red NSX, automatic with 20K miles. The car is in excellent shape. Not a single scratch on the paint anywhere and the interior is just as nice. It has 2 owner both in California. What would be a good offering price for the NSX? Is $40K too much? Also are the automatics worth any more or less than manual? I prefer the automatic as it will be a daily driver and I have long commutes….so willing to sacrifice a bit of performance with the automatic. Just as an FYI I was going to buy a Ferrari 328 with 6K miles (yes only 6K miles)…but after shopping around and looking at long term costs the NSX won hands down…..

There is a section on Pricing in the Buy, Sell area. It's pretty accurate.
Incidentally, NSXprime, the home of the FAQ, is in the process of migrating to a new server today (Sunday), so you may find it to be down for a day or so.
