Just for small stuff like my neons for my system, I just ran them right to the battery, dont know how to tap into the fuse box correctly, can anyone explain?

near the fuse box look for a thick White/black wire there should be two they're the main power wires (which means constant not switched)

Yeah if its the kind that splices in, since its the main power wire you should fuse whatever you connect to it.

Most of the ones in the fuse box are switched use a test light or voltmeter to find a switched source anywhere from there. There are some constant wires in the fuse box but it makes no sense to get them from there.
