trany problems

Default trany problems

i was thinking of dropping a honda civic ex engine in my crx but i was told that the trany might not fit my crx can yall please help me on this thanks.......

You can use your stock transmission with the EX engine. The EX tranny will not work because it's hydraulic and your CRX has a cable tranny. You can use the Hasport hydro to cable conversion kit if you really wanted to use the EX transmission.

Is there any gain in keeping the EX tranny for the swap?? in other words are the gear ratios better on the EX than what they are in the Std Rex..
