Tranny and gearbox Questions
Are all B series gearboxes interchangable? Like will all B series gearboxes fit in the b series tranny casings? Will it matter really it they are cable or hydro?
The reason im askng is becuase my synchros are fucked again and i can get a whole B16a1 cable tranny for like $250 from a friend.I was thinking of just taking it to swap in the gearbox and putting my Stock LSD in it and not even worry much about it .

it could be your driving style sucks.
it sould be the shift forks or the interlock piece is worn out and needs to be replaced.
it could be your clutch fluid system needs to be bled or a hydro cylinder needs to be replaced.
Now, of course you can replace your tranny with a cable B16 tranny but you'd need to run the cable-to-hydro conversion kit which costs $$ too, so dont bother.
You can swap your ITR LSD into a 92-93 GSR cable tranny case but why bother, there hard to find so they are $$$$$.

im not asking why they broke . i know why they broke.
My question is will the B16a1 cable tranny gearbox fit in the ITR housing. Synchros are $211 a piece from Honda. and i dont know yet that that is my whole problem . I know for a fact i now need a new bearing becuasew Honda punched it in with a damn screwdriver and my tranny leaks like a syv. thats why the syncro broke.
