Default Low tire pressure...

How bad are the effects of driving with low tire pressure on a motor? I know that mpg is decreased and handling as well.

Decreased MPG, decreased handling, probably abnormal tire wear, etc.... No effect on the motor that I know of, but why would you want to drive around with low tire pressure?!

I didn't want to but my bro comes at me today and asks "your car feel different?". He put air in my tires sometime a few days ago I guess saying that they were like flat. I've been so busy lately(well always) with school and work both full time and now trying to figure out what to do since my emblems were jacked that I hven't checked the tire pressure in a very long time. The simple things always slip past my attention, i guess I'm an idiot.

Just check the tires one morning when they are cold and set the pressure to stock. 35 psi front, 33 psi rear. You shouldn't need to check it that often once you get it set...maybe once every couple of weeks.

Check the oil level and air pressure at every fill up...

Worst time to find out you have a low tire, is on that favorite on ramp!

Of course everyone SAYS that, but who actually does? I know you don't! Hopefully that Mugen oil pan you installed will prevent your car from dropping out of VTEC the next time you let the oil level drop below the dipstick... J/K.

The front tires were in the high 20 psi range I guess from what he said. Just wondering if could potentially cause excessive wear on the motor but I guess not. Don't worry about my oil, I monitor that very closely. Thanks for the info fellas.
