actually i was wondering the same thing. i was at my local mc shop and they had a special on the micron slip on and according to them, the PC3 is really useful when you get a full aftermarket exhaust (like headers and onwards). PC3 would probably help eke out a bit more with the slip on, but probably overkill. if u have more significan, future mods in mind, then it would definitely help.

I'm currently running the PC3 USB on my RR and have an Erion Slip-on. I must say that I've noticed a smoother acceleration and the flat spot at 10K RPM seems to be taken care of. The only complaint I had with the PC3 was that I bought one of the first batches, which had problems with stalling the bike. After sending it back to Dynojet haven't had a problem. Good Luck

You could always tune your bike a little better even from stock. Its just do you have the extra money for the small gains of just a slip on? I would save my money. Still the best results will be from putting your bike on a dyno and tuning it instead of just using a set map.

If you get the pciii... take it to the dyno and have it tuned. My bike made a significant amount of horsepower over stock with only a slip on. I had a full system and it only made 0.8 more hp up top and lost about 1-2 mid range so I took it off.
