Default Vote For Your Little Sister (RSX Type S)

I know its not the Type R but at least its an Acura/Honda so vote to keep the Mustangs and Camaros at bay...I know this will get moved but hopefully we get a few votes

I agree... From what I've read and heard, most (USA) Type R owners have little to no respect for the RSX at any trim level, including myself.

I had to vote for the WRX. It has AWD, turbo, and will hit 0-60 in 5.4 secs...thats just as quick as either the Mustang or the Camaro. Plus it has 4 doors and seating for 5 and a real trunk. You really can't go wrong. But the RSX-S is pretty damn nice...

I own a Type R and I wouldnt trade it for a Type S but its not a bad car, its decently quick, handles ok, has good brakes for a Honda and is built very well

It's no Type R but its a decent car

this post must have made it's way into the RSX forums, b/c the RSX % has jumped to 4X.XX% where it was below the WRX before...

Hmmm...I saw 14.8 slips on a stock Type S...

I don't like the car either, but you can't deny quickness in stock form..

Why? It's better than the GS-R in everyway and its a damn nice car, it's still not an R though.

Sorry, my vote went to the WRX.
When there is a poll, don't you want to see the "fact" of results?

WRX is the obvious winner of that poll. now if the ITR was one there (not RSX-R, the real Type R) it would be different...

That is so incorrect it's funny. Sure, it's faster, and the brakes feel better.. but the interior (exception: seats) and the fun to drive aspect.. lol right. I honestly felt like I was driving a Kia when I was driving a RSX-S. I own a GS-R and GLADLY left the RSX-S at the dealership and drove my car home.. and to think I was actually going to trade it in.. not after that test drive. I can't stand boring *** cars.. and the RSX is one boring *** car.

The WRX got my vote also. Also, when the STi comes out, I will probably get one. There are just too many factors in favor of the WRX to the RSX. It makes sense.

So your basing your review on what?

The interior is nice IMO and its fun to drive

Looks are subjective but you didnt mention them at all so your major complaint is the interior.

Felt like driving a Kia?

It's a fun car, handles better than a GS-R and is quicker

How is the fun to drive aspect less than a GS-R?

A couple of lengthy test drives. What else would I base my opinion on? Car & Driver? (well there are people here who do that.. not me though)

The interior is nice IMO and its fun to drive
Good for your opinion. We all have opinions, mine is that it's boring, it doesn't make me want to rev the car, doesn't make me want to push it hard at all. I just couldn't see myself owning one as it gave me absolutly no pleasure when driving it. And you just have to love those fugly gauges (imo) and that wonderfully tacky and cheap rubber dash covering (again, mo). The only piece on the dash that I like is the HVAC controls.

Looks are subjective but you didnt mention them at all so your major complaint is the interior.
I don't really care how a car looks, I'm not a chick Seriously though, as long as it's not butt ugly I don't really care what it looks like. Neither the G3 Teg or G4 teg.. err RSX are that ugly or pretty soo..

It's a fun car, handles better than a GS-R and is quicker
Disagree on the fun part, agree on the rest. It's also quite a bit more expensive than a G3 GS-R. Same money into some mods and you're right there.

How is the fun to drive aspect less than a GS-R?
Read above. The GS-R is atleast rewarding to drive a little (more when modified slightly) but the RSX didn't excite me at all.. like fuggen a "very large mammal" (D speak for a really fat chick).

I voted for the z28. I think theyre the best buy you could get out of that w/o a doubt. Stock vs stock itll rape any of those other cars, and it has amazing potential also.
