90 integra Gs with 95 gsr motor/92 ls transmissions couple questions
my friend has this set up in his car
well his first ls tranmissions blew up a couple months ago at the track, he had no pilot bearing could this be teh cause of it?
well so now he has a 92 LS tranny, but he coudlnt get the pilot bearing to fit. so hes again running no pilot bearing
hes using a 95 gsr flywheel with a 92 ls transmissions he said the pilot bearing wouldnt fit at all? it was a new pilot bearing also, is there anything u guys know that wouldnt make it not fit?

he said the hole on the gsr flywheel was to small for the bearing
arent all B series pilot bearings the same?
also what could happen in the long run with no pilot bearing?

u sure u got the right bearing? U have to tap it into the flywheel, it doesn't just "go" right in.
use a large socket and Gently tap it into the hole.
make sure socket is large enough so it hits against the metal part of the bearing.

my friend was posting this for me. i have a feeling the pilot bearing had everything to do with my tranny blowing. imma pull my tranny out sometime in july and try to get the bearing in. i dont wanna blow up another tranny.

also could not runing a pilot bearing cause ur tranny to blow?
