Please post pictures of your Red DC2's. I plan on getting one this weekend, but I really wanted a white one. The guy is only asking $5500 for it, so it is tempting the hell out of me. I never have really seen a Red DC2 with a JDM Type R front end. Thank you for your time!

well i dont know about you guys, but if that is the pic of the car, its All JDM RHD too. If its real, it was repainted. Remember 1997, 98 were White and 2000, 01 Black and yellow. No other colors EVER available under the Acura badging

 

$5500 for a type-r? $5500 for a red type-r that they never made in the US? In Torrance? JDM front end? What? I don't really get what your saying.

Thanks for the pic, Ben! Sorry for the mix up....the DC2 I will be picking up this weekend is a 1994 LS. It is not a GSR, nor Type R. We finally got done building our Golden Eagle 2.0L engine (straight LS), so I don't mind if this particular DC2 isn't a GSR. I just need a straight body and frame so that I can drop my motor in it. The other reason I wanted the LS is because the taller gearing is what I need with the turbo I plan on using. I just recieved my Kevlar Twin Plate clutch from Clutchmasters, and it will only work with the Hydro LS tranny (not yet available for the cable trans). So the $5500 pricetag seems like a steal to me. No accidents, no salvage, none of that. Just a high-mileage motor under the hood, which is cool with me. Again, I apolgize for the mix up. I would have loved a white DC2, but I can't wait any longer...I gotta drop this Twin Plate in!!!!!

 

LOL. True.....still trying to locate one....I found a few different ones. I plan on going with the Mugen look for the front and the WW side skirts and rear apron. Anyone know of a place that might sell a knock off? I hate to get something that's not real, but the fact of the matter is that I need to cut a corner somewhere, and this one is a $500 one.
