Yeah, you can beat the **** out of it I autoX mine and it is holding togeter just fine. Just be sure you keep up on regular maintence. The A6 is a good motor, we'll see how well it holds up to some boost shortly

 

race it where? dragstrip or auto x or hpde's?. either way if the motor's gonna blow it's gonna blow. i ran a d15b2 for the longest time until i got the z6 in. never blew the motor but i myself got blown by many times. i actually won stf class at autox with it last year.

Don't do it. It will explode as soon as you give it full throttle.

I beat on my engine all the time. D15. 408,000 km on it.

 

I kicked the **** out of engine today following my motorcycle friends. Constasnt high revving and the engine asked for more. Very tough little engine.
