Alright,

So ive heard differing opinions on 205/40/16's. Some say theyre a bad ride, others say theyre alright. I cant decide what I should get.

Should I spring for 205/45/16's or go with the 205/40/16's? If I go with the 40's over the 45's ill save myself probably 80 bucks. Sure it doesnt seem like a whole lot but, if the 40's really dont ride THAT bad, then id prefer to get them. User experiences? Im getting Falken Ziex's by the way.

 

I had 16's with those same tires in 205/40's. I also had neuspeed sport springs on stock shocks. They rode ok. But when I hit a bump it was harsh. I hated going over railroad tracks. I'm going to use 45's on my new car.

 

I had 205/45s and they weren't that bad. Car rode pretty good. I'd get the thicker ones just to protect your wheels a bit more.
