As part of our ongoing effort to promote our partners on the 13-hour enduro program, I went to this site and I think it was the source of multiple viruses that tried to weasel into my machine.

AVG caught them but my start page was highjacked and I got all kinds of really neato free-games-on-the-web offers - along with two trojan horses and another sketche .exe file.

I am NOT positive that this is the source but AVG's alerts seemed to coincide with visiting that site. Be wary and let me know if you had similar issues.

Please, turn off javascript, activex, and all that other IE ****... Sorry, I don't have internet explorer in front of me, but I'm sure you can search for some info about securing your browser. There should be no way that programs "find" their way onto your computer. Same thing w/ outlook. The sheer number of people who have their browsers/mail clients set to automatically download files amazes me. None of the current viruses/worms would be around if the security options weren't set so lax on software. I'm not even talking about software flaws, just things that you can set in preferences.

Yeah - nothing I didn't already know but I have a couple of work projects that require looser security. I get what I deserve...
