my swaps complete cars running fine, my question is ....... i have a 90 accord shaft with 93 axles, when i drive my car i can hear what sounds like my axle is wobbling "knocking" but no vibrations, i can hear it pretty good as speed increase so does the noise anyone have this problem?

i checked the axles and its not comming out it doesnt bind in turns neither, my dad says my passenger side axles seem too long could this be? how do you knoe if the axle is too long?

take off axle nut & with the wheel at its normal ride height push axle in (hopefully your splines arent rusty that makes this harder) it should go in some,at least a 3/8 in,as much as 1in.

 

well looking at the axle meeting the tranny theres allmost no gap... If my axles are too long what would happen as far as noise and drivability? right now the car seems fine its just the knocking noise as speed increase noise gets louder..... but ill try what you said just to see........ anyone else?/

could be a bad cv joint going out.. mine was bad.. and it was making quiet a bit of noise too..

 

well ill check tomorrow maybe even pull the axles out and put them back in...... hopefully its something simple and nothing wrong with the tranny...
