not worried about pedal pressure that much... but i am worried about wallet pressure...

I am thinking about ACT HD pressure plate w/ 6puck is a good choice?

Anything ACT or Centreforce is even better, is a good choice.

They should have TQ specs for each of the different clutches.

Just a little insight on Jinx's recommended CM4. I took his word for it and made that purchase. Ran the car for about 3000 miles with only 4 track pulls running slicks. When I pulled the clutch out it had sadly deteriorated for such little duty I put it through. I did the 500 mile break-in...not a nice and easy one but somewhat easy. First pass at the track it was slipping its *** off, after that run it was all good.
No offense Karl, it is a nice clutch just thought it would hold up better.

CM stage 3. Its like butter. I had the stage 4 and it lasted less than a year, chattered like **** and ate into my flywheel thereby killing it.

I loved my clutchmaster stage 4. It lasted 2 years with 375whp and about 8 mos with 480whp and over 60 passes on slicks. I even loved my stage 5 but it didn't last very long with 530whp everyday.

its odds how two ppl with the same clutch (CM stg 4) can have two totally different results.

what about proclutch stage 4? Anyone know how much it will hold? Thier best race version (ver 4) is only 220.

To clarify, I thought the clutch grabbed really well. The chatter was too much for me though because I like to ride/slip the clutch for daily driving. It had a soft pedal feel too and that was a plus.

Oh yea and I remember the clutch lasted more like 1.5 years instead of less than 1 (as stated in my previous post) because I drove on it for almost 6 months before I got my car tuned and then about a year on it after tuning. But after it was all said and done, I had to change my rear motor mount because it tore it. Also after the clutch was slipping for a month, it killed my CM PP and flywheel. I recommend the stage 3 over the stage 4. Its 90% of what a stock clutch feels like but it grabs like a ****.

Chris I was talking about how 93LScivic and Hybrid901 both used the CM stg 4 on high power applications - one loved it, one hated it.

How do you like the ACT XTR6? How is it for daily driving?

Ive done alot of clutch research and it seems less people have problems with ACT clutches but the XTR6 is alot harsher than the CM Stage 4. I dont know if its reasonable for city driving.

havent driven it yet... but im not worried about harshness bc i dont do much city driving anyway. also the first car i drove stick on the road was a 69 camaro, talk about a hard clutch.... after driving that and then getting in my honda it feels like im pushing down air.
