Out of curiousity (as I'm definitely not a good candidate for that job), what exactly does that mean? 40% of your work time? 40% of the week/month/year? 40% willing to travel at all?

40% out in the field & 60% in the office. If you're single and don't mind traveling then great but if you're married with children then not so great.

I want that job. I'm in Raleigh and have a BS in marketing.

OT but, does anyone know "tuition reimbursement" is specifically? Do you pay to train for a job? Or do they pay off your college loans if you work for them. (yeah right )

Tuition reimbursement usually constitutes financial reimbursement for completed coursework during employment ony. This is usually limited to formal institutions as the govt. gives a nice tax break. These courses do not usually have to be work specific. Additional funding may be offered for work specific courses outside of an academic setting, but the amount is usually set and greatly reduced from the tuition reimbursement amount.

exactly, and some companies are different. When I worked in "Corp America" they would reimburse me 75% of my tuition, books, and lab fees. Then after two years they would reimburse me the other 25%. It's different for evey company, some may only reimburse 50% but they usually only pay for courses taken during your employment with. I have heard of people being reimbursed for courses prior to their employment with x company but that is extremely rare and usually has more to do with their corporate philosophy and culture.
