92 1.5 head fits a 97 1.6 block?

92 1.5 head fits a 97 1.6 block?
i never built a single came before iv always messed with ls engines,... so all you single cam freaks out there, i have a 93 1.5 gude built head,, i also have a 97 1.6 block.. will that head fit? a local friend said it will ill just have to put the dowl pins in a dif location? so unless you know for a fact let me know dont jsut guess. thanks people

itll fit. but if ur 1.6 block is a VTEC block u have to plug the oil supply. other than that it should just go right on. with the right timing belt
