Default Help with one Lug Nut

Hey what's up. I noticed my wheel shaking violently at 55mph+ speeds. So I try and tighten my lugs on my right front wheel and it seems that one of the lugs will neither tighten or loosen and come off. what do I need to do to get this bitch off? thanks

what are you using to take it off a impact wrench or a hand wrench? try a breaker bar with a hand wrench.

Sounds like its stripped. I would try to get a hold of it with vise grips and pull while turning, before doing anything else.

alright...I was thinking if it was to just slap some jb weld on there...but thats pointless for this

All I can think of for you can do is just keep playing w/ the vice grips...

what kinda wheels

may be able to torch it without hurting them......

get and impact and something to pry against it.......may just HAVE to hurt the wheel some (scratch) but prying while turning will work if you pull and turn hard/fast enough

Just make sure that you don't brake the ''splines'' in the hub so that when you go to seat another wheel stud it wheel stay.

I made the mistake of ruining the splines in the hub and had to replace it.

Goodluck bro

take the other lugs off so you can seperate the wheel from the hub enough to get a hack saw in there and cut the bolt off thats giving you the troubles and replace it with a new stud and nut, THERE YOU GO FRICKEN EASY- i dont understand why ppl allways have to make things so damned hard........

glad you got it fixed.

Did you replace it?

Where the ''splines'' in the hub ruined?
