Gee I rather watch "I want to date a race car driver" <puke>. What a nice weekend of TV. Lemans and Canadian GP. Can't wait. When MS takes the lead sunday I will give it about 30 minutes before I turn the channel. Darn it.

Maybe I'm just stupid or missed something, but how can LeMans start at 9:30 am LIVE, end at 7:00 am LIVE, and still be a 24 hour race? Wouldn't that make it a 21.5 hour race? Maybe they are shrinking it to cut costs like my 1.75 Qt. Bryers ice cream or 5.5 oz. can of tuna.

Ummm ... LeMans broadcast ends at 10:30 AM (when the other/following program begins).
Notice, I didn't comment on your apparent stupidity.

True, ... looked interesting till Michael turned up the pace again.

Fairly disappointed in BAR's race pace and especially Sato's unending amount of errors.
Still, I ordered a jacket from their website.

Williams and Toyota cars have been disqualified due to out of spec brake ducting.
This is great news!! Should really help BAR catch Renault and extend lead over Williams since both Renaults DNFed.

It puts Button 8 points up on Trulli in the driver's standings, and brings BAR Honda within 6 of Renault, and 19 ahead of Williams.

did the left rear wheel come off first, or did he hit the wall and then have that come off? The camera shot on tv never showed it... good news for BAR, but I don't think Button really worked for it this race. During the middle and beginning of the race he was turning some hot laps, but towards the end he just kinda let it go... Good news none the less, maybe they'll catch renault and sort out their engine problems sometime soon!

It's ok news. I think it sucks for BMW, shouldn't the FIA have caught the brake duct after qualifying. And I couldn't agree more, Button just didn't seem to push later on in the race (according to realtime F1.com telemetry, it's awesome!) but maybe he was trying to save his engine (especially after Sato's kablamo).
The left wheel came off the he couldn't turn and hit the wall. I believe it was the tire that I saw fly about 20 to 30 feet in the air. I was happy I wasn't in that grandstand.
