I am pretty sure the axle back is the same but I think the mid pipe is longer but any muffler shop can cut it and make it shorter

NO! crx's is shorter. you'd have to cut it.

Ya, the midpiping is definitely different lengths but the axle-back is the same.

i took the axle back of my friends hatch and tried to put it on my crx and it didnt fit at all. The hangers didnt match up, you have to take the flange off the mid piping, the bolts from the mid piping and the axle back didnt match. Is it just because mine is an SI or what?

yeah, i've seen a crx with the muffler really close to the bumper and the tip sticking out about 3 inches.. guy said it was a hatch exhaust

crx is shorter from cat to axle, and shorter from axle to tip. and as rexboy said the hangers are different

Thats odd, the Thermal rear section off of my friends CRX fit my hatch perfectly. We even put my busted thermal rear section up to the new section and it was a spot on match. However, the mid section on a CRX is definatly shorter than that of a hatchback. About 8-9 inches.

im using an hks sport exhaust on my crx that was made for a hatch. I had to cut a couple of inches off of the midpipe for it to fit right. The tip doesn't stick out anymore than on a hatch. All the hangers lined up perfectly.
