Default 500$ in your pocket...

I need a cosigner for my 2001 type-r ... if your interested and have good/decent credit... i'll send you the form for my credit union and when the loan goes through you'll receive $500.00 cash. i know this sounds totally obsurb but i'll do anything for an r... if your not interested please don't reply with hateful comments.

Wow. Good luck on your quest for a type-r. Sell baseball cards, sell your body parts, whatever you do get that R!!!

but what happen to me if I am a cosigner and you decided not to pay the rest of the loan, I think I have to pay it for you, right? That sounds risky.......

yes it does... your absolutely right... i'm an honest guy (not that you should believe anyone online)... but i'll put a document in writing saying i'm fully responsible. my brother is a lawyer... and he told me what to write so it will hold up in court. plus i have a full time job at a transmission shop that i've been at for years so... i don't think anyone has much to worry about.

no acutally i thought i would have the r by now... i have no parents that can sign and no relatives that have good credit or are willing to sign. i've been trying to get this r for over a month and the people are growing rather impatient (not that i blame them)... so i guess i shouldn't have spoken before i actually had it in my garage

sorry, mis-understood. I don't think you are going to find anybody here willing to cosign for somebody they don't know. I had a problem cosigning for my girlfriend of 4 years... You never know when some one is going to get fired, or just freak out and stop paying. Or you could find some one willing to cosign, then they'll go through some loop holes and end up owning the car, call it in stolen and get you busted, plus they get the car. Also another thing, since you have no credit at all, you might not even be able to be put on the loan at all.

Your 18, why not build up slowly. Build some credit - open a credit card account but never use it, etc. By a less expensive car that you drive for a couple years and then pay the loan off.

Your young, you'll have plenty of time to get something like the R. Things take time.

Belive me I do (I own one don't I...)

All I'm saying is that you have an entire life to get the things you want, don't complicate your life now trying to get something that may not be possible based on your situations.

Godd luck...

Get a smaller loan then pay it right back. That would be a good start. Get a credit card and not use it.

no offense by this statement, but if you say you have unwilling relatives that wont co-sign for you, why would you expect a complete stranger to do it??

Maybe you should try something a bit cheaper in price and build your credit and then when the RSX Type R comes out try and get that. I mean, you have to start earning credit some how. You cant keep having people co-sign for ya forever. Dont rush into things...before you know it you will be knee deep in a Type R, still have limited credit...no money to save, and you might be wanting to buy a house or something and have no way to do it.

Trust me...i wanted a R BADLY in 98...but couldnt afford it. So I kept driving my 92 GS-R for another 2 years...kept moding it..having fun...then low and behold...Acura release the Type R in Yellow for 2000...my fav. color! I was like..hell yeah!...I sold my car and bought the R..I could finally afford it and still have money left over to save and go out. You see if I would have jumped and bought the 98 white R I would have been kicking myself when the Yellow came out cause thats what i would have wanted but wouldnt have been able to buy. Good things come to those who wait.

Have you checked insurance on the R yet? You are 18 yrs old...its going to be crazy $$$...dont you want money to save and go out on the weekends / track events / mod the R?

Good luck either way...I say buy a cheaper car and build it until you build up credit...dont ever put yourself in a position to RELY on someone else.
