electrical gauges wiring problem. (N e one wanna halp me?)
I have an 88' Civic Si (HB). i bought 6 gauges for it. Im really not sure of how i should wiring the electrical gauges. I just bought the EF not to long about and im not really sure of how the wiring in the 88' civic is.
well n e ways, the problem is hooking up the gauges to work wit my lights (eg. working wit my headlamp switch). Also wiring it to the car electrical system. Would i have to hook it up to me fuse box or something along that line? pictures would be great if u guys have the time or patience to do so. thanks alot if u can assist me in this problem.
P.S. The(elect.) gauges use two different power source. One for the guage itself and one for the lighting. I have the problem with wiring the electrical gauge to constantly stay on (eg, when i turn to key in the accsoy. position) so they work with the car. how to fix that problem.?

You should buy a chilton manual it will have all the factory wiring diagrams you should need. The gauges should have their own sending units to function properly. To speed thing up for you the wire you will need for them to turn on with the lights would be the red w/black wire. This is the one that turns on the dash lights when the headlights turn on.

No. You should buy a HELMS manual. That is the factory service manual.
