Default A quickie for someone in the know...

I wanted to know if this engine package is basically eveything i need for my swap? oh yeah here is the link... http://www.japanstarmotors.com/zcdohc.html and something else weird about that site but i already asked on here, the whole hydro tranny thing. Oh just for info, i have a 91 Si now and everything is stock in the engine (and everything else), but i want to do everything right..no 1/2 assed stuff if i can help it..but then there is the problem that i only have like MAYBE $1000 to spend...its sad yes but i'm a broke ***** and i really want an engine swap..so yeah will it work?

well from the list of parts included it almost there.. but i don;t seem to see them mention these:

- axles (and/or 1/2 shaft if needed)

- tranny..it does say hydraulic but didn't listed as it is included (from the pic it show an automatic tranny)

- D-pipe (can't see from the pic)

but for the price they selling for i don't think it a complete swap..it a semi-complete...

but since you want to put the dohc zc into you 91 si...then you can jsut still retain your tranny/axles/ecu/engine harness and almost everything else...it jsut a plug-N-play deal.....

Ok..for the tranny..i was gonna bolt up the Si tranny to the engine, so thats covered..i don't know what axels to use but i need them anyways...and the downpipe...well if the stock one fits i'll end up having to put that one on but if i can afford it i'll most likely buy a after market header with a downpipe attached

just use the same axles you ahve that is from your old motor...same goes for the exhaust manifold and D-pipe..basically if you still have your old motor there and everything is still there..jsut swap them over to the ZC motor. it pretty much interchangeable.
