making the bike backfire.
i found this out last night when i accidentally switched off my motor and shot a 2ft flame out the back, it looked and sounded sick, probly isnt the best thing for the motor , but how can i make it do it again?
Sometimes my bike shoots a 2ft flame when I let off the throttle at high rpms.......
It's never happened when I shut off the motor.... I'd be scared if it did.

ok im back... oh so what exactly happen was ,i was revving it up to about 9k -10k rpms, while holding the throttle i hit the kill switch and while staying on the throttle i switched the motor back to the "ON" position and POP! shot a nice flame out. it was cool , so did it again and again.. but i couldnt figure it out to where i can get it to "POP" on command.
i always see guys riding past or under an overpass and make it backfire. one guy made beleive he was holding a gun and made it backfire.
i was just wondering if any of you fellas know how to do it too?

get some fouled sparkplugs so your bike won't start. then keep trying to start it up with the choke on. it will backfire and shoot flames all day long. well.. at least my cbr did... backed fire about 3 out of every 5 times when i tried to start it up when the sparkplugs were fouled. blue flames shot out like 1 or 2 foot from the exhaust ... looks wicked!
i did this a couple of times and scared the living crap out of my girlfriend...she thought it was cool, except for the fact that she almost fell off...
its better during the night time

I do this with the vehicles at the airport. It's not really bad for the engine or anything, but it can do some damage to the exhaust. Since there is no spark the air and fuel going past the carb gets blown into the exhaust. When you give it ignition, the hot gasses ignite the fuel in the exhaust and you hear it explode. One worker ripped the welds off the muffler because the pressure was so high.
