Default blacked out headlights.

Where do you get the headlights and blinkers that are pictured on this car?

The ones pictured here are actually DIY black housings done on OEM headlights. You can buy the replica JDM headlights on Ebay for $185-$190 brand new.

Ya I figured that they might be DIY, I did that to my GTI, just throw them in the oven, pop them apart and spray away right?

If you wanna spend and extra $100 you can get the real JDMs on ebay. It might be worth it cause I heard the fake ones leak and have problems with condensation. Just something to consider.

on that note, do a search. i remember that recently there was a thread on which types of blacked out fixtures fit into the 5th gens and which ones needed modification. would be good info for you to have when you are looking into buying these
