How crazy of a build are you looking for? OEM'ish, Crazy or a little in between?

search search search,
and get used to never finding a good answer with dyno claims to back it up.

And the only dyno sheets i come across are like 125whp whoop tee doo.
Besides a couple good sheets that read 160whp+

Search all of h-t, then goto google and type in search strings and then you have like 15 hours of crap you can search through. I know i've spent over an hour just reading different crap about crank pulleys on h-t and 1 other board

I have crower valves and valve springs I am selling for a d16y8 or d16z6 If used with crower titanium retainers you could rev it to 10,000 rpm. Check it out if you are interested.

Ported head (milled)
Edelbrock IM
Nice throttle body
Y8 head gasket
Bisimoto Header
ZEX #59300 (great for boost/spray)
ZEX springs/retainers
Lightweight flywheel and a grabby clutch

Check out the ZEX website. They ran mid to low 13's on a Z6 with slicks and a 75shot, the engine had the cam/spring combo and basic bolt ons (nothing special). The car was an EG hatch, full interior.

are you a member at d-series.org?? you might want to check it out. you will probably get a little more insight on what you want to do over there as opposed to here. how many miles does the motor have on it?? you didnt suggest how much you want to spend or what times you want to hit with it. you also didnt suggest what CR you want to obtain but since it looks like you are going to manage it with a vafc and spray a little on it i would maybe suggest something mild.

bottom end.
z6 block
fresh bearings
arp rod bolts
z6 rods/PM6 pistons(d16a6)-10.4 CR
take the block to a shop to see if it is within spec or if you need to bore it over.

head.
maybe the zex59300 like people are suggesting
valvesprings/retainers of choice.
valve job and resurface

run the z6 IM, find a 60mm TB and port match the IM, mild clutch(no need for 6puck type ****) and research your flywheel choice. lighter isnt always better. find what meets your needs best.
run whatever intake you want and choose a header.

that should get you underway. you should be able to run that on pump gas pretty reasonably and it should last. you might want to pay attention to your ignition timing when you go to spray on the setup with that CR. i have broken ringlands on oem pistons with 10.3 CR because my timing was kind of aggresive but i was like ahhh its only a 50 shot. so just beware.

oh yeah i have my timing marked 2 degrees retarded for spraying because ive heared if your timing is advanced or normal, while spraying at high rpms you can fry vlaves so im staying clear of that

you might want to search for username mista bone.
maybe check out these threads https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=244453, https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=188819, https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=183382. maybe hit him up and talk to him on PM a little. one of the wisest choices for you if you are into drag racing may be some slicks, and maybe some good tires for the street

well i like my setup its:

D16z6
head milled .040
4-2-1 header
CAI
58mm ls t/b
Zex59300 cam and skunk2 adj. camgear
ran a 14.2 with only 14 degrees of timing which if you dont know is 2 deg retarded, i ran it like that because my dist. dosent line up so full advance is only 14 degrees. but i just started spraying on it with a 50 shot and its pulling pretty hard now. good luck with your sohc.
