Default Dash lights not working at all

Ok, heres the deal, my dash lights do not work at all, nor do the lights in the heater console or any lights on dash at all (except warning lights / seat belt ect) but the white backlite stuff dont light up. Was just looking thru helms someone posted on here.
I have replaced the dimmer switch with one out of another dash I have, also tried the other guage cluster. Found that there is a relay for the dimmer control under the dash.

Is there a way to test the relay / dimmer switch to see if they are getting juice? Simple test light? Or hows best way to test these things. Almost afraid its a wireharness problem. Its not fuse cause the tail light / license light is same fuse as dash lights and they work.

Any suggestions gladly appreciated. Thanks.

Fuse is ok, cause the tail lights work and the license lights work (all one the same fuse). But yes I will check it again just for you LOL

And which grounds wires, got the car from my sister, lights didnt work when she got it. Just trying track down the problem. Will check grounds just not sure which to check, but will keep looking thru helms for diags. Thanks
