Default 94-96 accord motor question

I have a 94 accord ex. and motor is blown. I found a 96-97 accord motor. Does anyone know if this will work? is there any additional wires dats needed to be ran? Any suggestions or help greatly appreciated!!

This is your opportunity to drop in an H22. Bolts right in. If you're replacing your engine anyway, you have to go with the H22. More power, perfect fit, what more could you ask for?

This is for an older person and they are not interested in power.. As long as they can get from point a-b then its coo.

you want a 94-95 motor......96-97 is OBDII, and would require some modifications....

i dont know all that much about the conversion, cept that its a kick in the sack.....basically, ur gonna have to replace the exhaust system with one from a 96-97....new ECU (or u can be ghetto and use a harness converter)...if the new engine dont come with one, ull need new dizzy, etc.......its just ALOT more work, cause the 94-95 will drop RIGHT IN w/o doing anything extra

The intake manifolds will be different, the crank angle sensors were added to the 96-97, the distributors are different.
Block and head will be the same. So yes you can dump the 96 into the 94.
