h22 ek iac problems, i've already searched
I put an obd-1 jdm h22a into my obd2b 00 ek a few weeks ago. Everything is smooth, but my IAC valve does not work correctly. With the IAC plugged in, when I start the car, the idle jumps up and down (I removed the intake pipe, with the car running, plugged the faster idler valve (bottom hole in the side of the throttle body) and this did not cure my idle, it did not change.) With the IAC unplugged the car's idle drops to normal, but from 1K-1500, I cannot hold the idle there otherwise it surges. CEL 14 shows up with the IAC plugged in and un-plugged.
I took my Helm's manual for my 93 Prelude and followed what is says for CEL14. With the car running, I unplugged the 2P connector to check for voltage from the YEL/BLK wire. There is in fact voltage. I then turned the car to the ON position, unplugged the "A" plug from the ECU and did what the manual says, jump A9 w/ A26. The IAC did not click like it is supposed to. I checked and A9 does not get voltage (manual says it should). I then checked continuity between the ecu jumper harness and the actual IAC plug and my voltmeter was beeping for both wires.. The BLK/BLU (top wire in the 2P connector) was found at A9 on the ecu side and the YEL/BLK wire was found at multiple locations on the "A" connector (it is just a power wire and it shares w/ numerous other sensors and such, injectors for example.
Now I've tried several IAC valves and none of them click when I do this test, but if I jump say A1 (power for one of the injectors) w/ A26 the IAC does click. So I know the IAC is good. My question is, is the BLK/BLU wire that goes from the IAC valve to the ECU supposed to be spliced in with any other wires between the sensor and the ECU? Any help with this is greatly appreciated because as of right now I cannot run my A/C because my idle drops way to low when I turn it on and to get it to where it should be I need to adjust my idle screw and with the a/c off, that makes my idle waaayyy too high! Thanks!!!

btw, car is using the D16y7 harness modified by Neal Sutton of NS Racing for the H22 in conjunction with a JDMSH!T jumper harness and obd-1 P13 ecu.

what and how did you fix it...cause i'm getting the same issue along with code 10.
thought i had both plug in the incorrect position but that is not the case...
what was your solution?

I got the OBD-2B ecu pinout that Katman made. I followed what he has about converting the 3 wire IAC to 2 wire (moving pins around on the ecu) and that did the trick. Car runs great now! :D
