Default different years of crx

i am looking to buy a honda crx but i can not decide what year i should buy. i wanna know what the differences between the 1988-1991 Honda CRX Si. if anyone could help me it would be a great help and if u have any links to sites that have information about this topic that would be an even bigger help because i have been looking every where and can not find anything on it.

get a 90-91 CRX Si.

a littel heavier then the earlier (88 being the lightest of the bunch) but they have 4wheel disks, the non-type R style rear lower control arm (came on 88's). the 90-91 SI ecu's are chippable too.

also the taillights on the 90-91's are way nicer looking IMHO, they have like a trim line around the outside of them. The gauge cluster is a different shape on the 88-89's than the 90-91's, but the 90-91 cluster will fit properly with the right visor (the part that surrounds the cluster)

The dashboard layout of all 90/91 Civics/CRX's look loads better (IMHO) than their 88/89 counterparts!

The only thing the 88/89 styles have on the newer cars is the seatbelt setup, and the grooved trim (which I think looks better)

Unless you live in Canada, then all the seatbelts are are on the B pillar where they should be.

i have a 91 and i liek it alot but i prefer the 88. its the lightest and has the seatlbelts on the pillar. and the only thing i would do is throw on 91 tailights and ur set.

no this applies to Canada and USA models.

88 - All models, B-pillar mounted belts
89 HF - B-pillar mounted belts
89 Si/DX - door mounted
90-91 All models, Door mounted.
