Quick question, does anyone know how many gallons a 1990 Honda Accord EX holds? I am trying to calculate my gas mileage right now, and I can't find this simple number anywhere on the net.

Well, if it is the same as my 1991 ex then it is 17 gallons.

 

Not sure about how big your tank is, but to calculate gas mileage your supposed to use how many gallons you put in. So fill up your tank, reset the trip counter, then when it gets low fill it up again, and divide the number of miles by the number of gallons you put in..

 

Thanks guys. I believe it is 17 gallons. I am getting some bad gas mileage right now too if it is. I just changed my oil, and am about to get some new tires, so hopefully that will help.

You might as well throw on a new air filter and new plugs, and wires if their old. The plugs and wires should help out, because a stronger spark = fuel burnt more completely, so less fuel used. Also distributor cap if its old. So yea, tune-ups improve gas mileage quite a bit
