i have a slight popping problem at higher rpm's could this be due to my spark plugs i put them in but i didnt know if i should have gapped them or not from outta the package if i am supposed to how much should i? any help is appreciated

 

depends on what plugs you bought, if you still have the box it will tell you.

some come pre-gapped, some dont.

 

well ive thrown the box away but i can just go back to the store and check tomarrow thanx

 

what he said ^^ Most platinum plugs come pre gapped. I always gap mines now. I use regular NGK's.

So you don't know what plugs you used?? Also the some boxes don't tell you. I work at an autoparts store and we HAVE to tell ppl what to gap it at.

 

What brand are the plugs? I believe that most ngk's come pre-gapped.
