dont do the msd, you have like literally half the vtec power, save and do it right man, you may have vtec but not the extra fuel for it...

Ya...

MSD =

I'm using the MSD right now. When the VTEC activates it just runs kinda lean and i don't notice much of a power gain.

The reason the engine runs lean is because you're not enriching the mixture after vtec activation...the MSD unit just activates the selonoid.

I was running a pm6 ecu on my mini-me a while ago.. What I did was change the fuel map after the engagement point and let the rpm switch turn it on and off.. So when the switch turns on the solenoid the fuel table is already richened up for vtec..

i have a cx. I am going to ran hondata s200w/boost, now would i be able to run the non-vtec ecu, and run the msd thing. And that way it will be safe, because i have the hondata to richen the fuel. I don't have to do anything else with it, do i? My LS ecu is chipped with the hondata, can i just plug that into the cx harness?

but yeah, ls ecu, can it activate vtec?
if so, use it but remake the maps of course
