Default 91 ocatne in a higher than stock compression motor

this week my motor will finally be done. i had it bored out to 84mm and i'm using 11.8:1 pistons. now i live in VA were we have 93 octane (about 2 and some change a gallon), but i'm moving back to SoCal in 40 days. now i remember back home the highest we had was 91 octane (i heard somewhere like 2.50 a gallon). now is my motor gonna be safe from blowing up? now i know it's all about the tuner and a/f ratio. but will 91 octane be sufficient enough for my daily driver to be driven safely?

you're going to have to get your motor detuned for 91. good luck.
