Yea i saw that today too. Alls i know is i would never do it, to many things that could happen to it. What if was raining? What if u ran something over? Is it going ta hit on speed bumps? Theres just too many things.
That's just stupid. Reminds me of the camaro or TA that had a set-up like that, I wonder if he knows how much power he's losing out on. Talk about pressure drop.
I figured something like that..i mean my town is hard enough on those ricers with the body kits and nothing else..why would anyone in this hell hole we call a world put a turbo all the way back there? its just....not so smart. ..i know..i'll do something diffrent..i'll put a HUGE blower on my car ( a CRX)...cut a hole in the hood...and have it sticking out 2 feet....what a moron ( oh i'm j/k about the blower)

Hmmmm maybe not quite that far back but out of the engine bay would be better on some applications...like a H22 swap into a CRX..it would help i'm sure. But under the gas tank? out of the question. hell maybe even modify the floor pannels under the passanger side for a turbo to sit there..its right by the oil pan..but then there is the question of gravity feed line or power pump for the oil to turbo...maybe someone will get it right and sell it to all the stupid people out there with money to spend carelessly

Ahhh, I bet I know why they do it! If they get pulled over and asked to pop their hood, the cops will not see the turbo and cut them a break!
lol
