Default IAT sensor question

I was wondering if anyone knew if it was possible to hook up some sort of temp gauge to the stock IAT sensor that sits on the intake manifold to measure the temp? This would be a cool way to measure temps for performance reasons such as stock intake mani vs hondata, generic short ram intake vs comptech icebox and so on. IM sure this has been thought of before! TIA!

You could do that, but... making and them calibrating the display would suck goat ****.

Go to http://www.national.com and look up an LM34 chip, in the datasheet for the chip it has directions on how to configure it and build an LED readout for it. Reads to a little above 300 deg F, perfect for coolant and intake charge temps.
