Default Protective Gear

Just a quick poll. What protective gear to you guys have. I currently have an Arai RX7 (RR4??) brain bucket, AGV gloves and boots and a Aerostitch Roadcraft suit. The Aerostitch suit was not cheap, but it’s much more comfortable and practical than my old leathers.

Shoei RF-900
Tour Master Gore-tech jacket with ballistcs here and there (not too sporty, but very functional)
Some leather/kevlar gloves with knuckle padding etc
Doc Martens boots

Its not much protection, but its adequate for my sedate style of riding...

I would like some sort of pants for weather/safety.

Aerostich Dariens, Shoei RF-800 helmet, Alpinestars all weather gloves and Sidi waterproof touring boots. For the winter, Gerber electric clothing all around.

I'll agree, the Aerostich suit is the best thing I've bought for everyday riding.

Corey is my Rep. Im the only guy that really gets the Fo/Shift stuff. We used to carry it, but they started to have shitty service last year and before. So we switched to Thor which is now handled by Parts Unlimited. So now any problems I have I just call up Salesman 91 and he handles it.

Just went looking for a form fitting winter jacket, the best one for the money I found was the First Gear Textile Speed Jacket

VERY WARM, with replaceable liner and retracting neckwarmer.
o Snaps on wrists (velcro, like Joe Rocket, makes wrist and glove fitment awkward)
o Extra pockets on sleeves (you cant have too many)
o Form fitting (makes riding more comfy, no flapping fashion before comfort)
o Velcro Neck (This is where I want velcro, Joe Rocket has snaps here)
o No Exposed buttons to mar tank (had to wrap the lower zipper tangs though )
o Cost, about 20.00 less
o Leather stress and impact points, (leather is your friend on impact)
Textiles don't need treatment for water and are generaly warmer than leather.
