Default Suggestions On Best HP Gains?????

Hi, I have a 1997 JDM Honda Integra. I have only basically worked on the outside so far. The only things speed wise I have added is a full CAI and a Apex'i Cat-back exhaust system. I am going this all motor, no forced induction and I am about to start working on boosting up my horses; can you guys from HT give me all your advice on where to start?? Your methods on what to buy and what kind of HP gain I can look for in specific parts. Come on HT, help me out as much as you can.

Thanks alot.

Well, the Skunk2 Stage2 are slightly larger over the ITR cams, thats probably what I'm going to go with... You'll probably need Titanium springs and retainers too with the larger cam. You said you're going NA, so you could probably raise the compression to around 12.0-12.5:1. (Headwork - Port/Polish/Mill) Depending which engine you have, the ITR intake manifold is a great manifold, and a header would compliment your catback, I'm using a JDM ITR 4-1, its a real nice header. Finally, get a VAFC and get tuned on the dyno, I gained 11HP with 1/2 hour dyno time, and my engine ran better afterwards.

Just some things to think about...

you pansies quit talking crap about the filter, go and get a k&n for it (part # RT-4610 ), theres one company that sells them with the k&n already on there, anyways the intake is def worth it, and now that i know rocket likes it, it makes me that much more happy i have it, since i heard he knows what hes talking about a little

nope, not under 100 unless you get a killer deal from someone, they are like 280 new, that varies depending who you get it through

From the pictures I have seen, they look like they are made out of carbon fiber. Therefore, it is highly doubtfull they are under 100 bones.

Was there also tuning involved? Or, is that just from the air intake upgrade?

Nope. 10 sec deal. Took off the stock rubber intake arm and slapped on the whale ***** and voila!, ITB perf. like gains.

You can go with an aftermarket header. If you want to see some good gains, though, you will have to spend some money.

You can get by with a DC 4-1, but the gains won't be very impressive.

The real good gains can be had from brands like AN-R, Hytech, SMSP, and a few others. Do a search and check it out.

I think(not positive on this one) the cheapest "good" one is the Bisimoto. If I remember correctly, those are in the 5 to 6 hundred dollar range.

Edit: found them here http://www.a-t-s-usa.com/other...shtml
the abs plastic one is $251 and the cf one is $299, both include shipping.
