I would definately think about bringing that compression down when you buy new internals.

as far as kits go... (I see money is no problem) and whats your goals?

well lower compression pistons would be the way to lower your compression if your doing the internals. je, arias, cp, etc... all good companies that sell great aftermarket pistons. new sleeves are ness. to which opinions vary about sleeve brand and machining (search. LOTS of info about different sleeves people have used or are using) I would also obviously replace the rods with something beafy like the crowers, pauters, etc. You also will need to do new bearings, seals, oil pump, etc...

seriously your best bet would be to let someone like earl build you a motor... he is a straight shooter and no bullshit... I talked to him a couple times and will be getting my motor sleeved and assembled by him when I have the cash. pm him or call him for some info... I am sure he is willing to work with you.

how much more power and torque? if you have a figure in mind throw it out there so we know what kind of level you want to take it to. a 250 hp turbo setup is very different from a 400+ horse build... keep the future in mind. you really should lay out a goal or idea of what kind of numbers you would like to achieve.

that engine has very tough head, it could handle a lot.

integra's have B18c5 200hp

accord type r have h22a 220hp (euro specs)

I've seen them in action while in germany, the only thing is that they

weigh a lot.

Not sure, but that block might have FRM sleeves - so there may be issues with aftermarket pistons w/o resleaving. Better look into that first.

yup your gonna have to resleeve it with some new sleeves. h-series have frm sleeves which dont take forged pistons that well. how much money do u have to spend?

take a look at the various engine bearings that are shown in the background of most their infomation... http://www.kingbearings.com/

those (and your oil) support all the load of the internals... the actual surfaces of the bearing and engine component have just a very thin layer of oil that seperate them and keep them from contacting (friction is bad). they are vital and in my mind a rule of thumb is to replace if you have some mileage on the old ones... although I am sure someone has a more technical reason (they dont cost that much either in comparison to what you already will have spent).

I also will be putting a fresh water pump and oil pump in my build up motor since the exsisting have some mileage on them... also for piece of mind since I want to avoid problems and parts failure (it is a pain to replace later and you could cause more issues when/if it does fail). as far as brand... I just would run a honda oe water pump and oil pump... although I hear people talk about the pump gear being upgraded to pro drive or something brand ones.

At least all of our tax money going to Israel is going to good use. If you're asking these basic questions I would consider having someone else do the build for ya.
